Adoption

There are few things in life as wonderful and rewarding as helping another person to succeed in life. We have adopted an older daughter, and it's one of the best things we have ever done. We are proud that we have been able to help another person to have a better life, and she also brings a new and bright life to our lives. People need to reach out and help each other. This world might be a nicer place for all to live if we did that. Rickey Lynn

Retiring

I recently went back to work, teaching art to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The kids are great, and produce some wonderful work. I made a big mistake in retiring when I did. I really miss the classroom and the children. Before you retire, you should make sure it's really what you want to do, and not just some whim you are taking advantage of. I think I did!
